Seems, as if issue 86163 slipped through.

Initially this was considered as blocker for 2.4 - but moved to 3.0. 
Meanwhile a patch arrived but never got attention (for about 6 Weeks 
now).
It would be helpfull to have some builds for testing.
This is not true. Please look at the task again, i took action 
immediately. I communicated intensively with andreasma and thb to find 
out if this fixes the issue.
