Dear Rietveld users, Following Pr. Francois Goutenoire's question, I would like to add another question: I wonder how do you deal with electrostatic powders sample preparation though in Reflection mode. Do you use Kapton/mylar tape or any solvent to disperse the powder? How does it affect the results?
Thanks in advance, Gili -----Original Message----- From: rietveld_l-requ...@ill.fr [mailto:rietveld_l-requ...@ill.fr] On Behalf Of Fran?ois Goutenoire Sent: Wednesday, February 08, 2017 2:35 PM To: rietveld_l@ill.fr Subject: Tricks for transmission sample preparation between foils Dear Rietveld users, We are currently using transmission flat sample on our diffractometer. To prepare the transmission flat sample we are using mylar 15microns or kapton. We put the sample between 2 mylar foils. I would like to know if there is some tricks in order to nicely put the powder in the center of the circular sample older and if there is also some tricks in order to avoid electrostatic problems. Thank you very much in advance, -- ********************************************************************************************* Pr.
