Die neuste Produktion »Orientierungslosigkeit ist kein Verbrechen« ist
eine Gemeinschaftsarbeit mit der Filmemacherin Marita Neher. Außerdem
zeigen wir einen weiteren Film von Turanskyj, der das Tänzermotiv aus
»Eine flexible Frau« bereits vorwegnimmt. Von Marita Neher wird »Wurst
aus Angst« zu sehen sein.
The most recent production “Disorientation Isn’t a Crime” was
co-directed by filmmaker Marita Neher. We will also screen a short by
Turanskyj that foreshadows the dancer motif in “The Drifter” and “Wurst
aus Angst” by Marita Neher.

In Marita Nehers und Tatjana Turanskyjs gemeinsamem Film
»Orientierungslosigkeit ist kein Verbrechen« ist der Titel Programm:
Nach und nach verlieren zwei Frauen, die Kohärenz in ihrem Weltbild.
Lena, eine Journalistin in der Krise recherchiert zum Thema
Sicherheits-, Grenz- und Migrationspolitik an den europäischen
Außengrenzen in Griechenland. Eingeflochten in diese Recherche ist eine
Zufallsfreundschaft zwischen Lena und der Aktivistin Amy einer
Aktivistin der Refugee‐Welcome‐Bewegung, die teils aus Langeweile, aber
auch aus Neugier, Lena bei ihren Recherchen begleitet. Aus der Reibung
ihrer beiden Perspektiven Engagement, Arbeit und Kapitalismus entspringt
ein Road Movie durch die griechische Provinz, auf der Suche nach
unsichtbaren Grenzen und einer Haltung zur Gegenwart.
Gedreht wurde im Herbst 2014 an der griechisch/türkisch/bulgarischen Grenze.
Two women, whose comfortable outlook on life is challenged and shifts
gradually. Lena (Nina Kronjäger), a journalist in an existential crisis,
is in Greece researching a story on European external border security
and migration policy. Her story is intricately interwoven with the
coincidental friendship that arises between her and Amy. Amy (Anna
Schmidt), whom she runs into on her travels, is an activist with the
Refugees Welcome movement. Amy accompanies Lena on her research, partly
out of boredom, and partly motivated by curiosity.
The friction between both women arising from their different
perspectives on the refugee crisis, activism, work, and the state of
capitalism, generates a road movie which unravels as they charge along
on their travels through rural Greece, in their search for invisible
borders and trying to make sense of the current situation.
The movie was shot in autumn 2014 on location near the Greek/Turkish and
Bulgarian borders.
