Just to make it clear for the ones having the same problem, /etc/init.d/webcit restart did solve the issue of webcit not using any other language. It would be nice to have an error message somewhere though (maybe it's reported on a log file that I missed? I would be glad to know). I couldn't get my system to use the translated webcit.mo in /usr/share/locale/pt_BR, but overwriting '/usr/share/locale/de/LC_MESSAGES/webcit.mo' worked to some extent. Some things, like weekdays on calendar, are not surprisingly in german, while other stuff is strangely in english, like the page where it says "Your start page has been changed." (I also couldn't find the entry to change that on webcit.pot). Is there a way to properly install my translation on my current system? I'm afraid I need to get this working as soon as possible, and cannot wait for the next stable release... As for the strings I didn't understand, now that I can see them in the proper context it's quite easy to see what was wrong with them, and I'll be fine tuning them for the next days. Having said that, Citadel truly is a project with great ambitions, and it feels great to be able to help it somehow.
