The emails are coming from "the outside world" so to speak.. they are
intended for my boss basically lol

What's happening is people are telling me they're getting repeat messages,
because their email clients (in her case, Outlook) get to that specific
broken message, error out, and subsequently go into "email loss
prevention" mode i guess you could call it.. (IE, the server never receives
the QUIT message to properly flush the DELE'd emails)
