>When anyone posts a new calendar item via Lightning (via groupdav remote >calendar), every contact in the shared calendar suddenly shows up as being >"from" that user. (This was brought to my attention when one of the >secretaries started freaking out seeing her name on all the calendar entries, >thinking she would be "blamed" for something or other.) This is a side effect of the fact that when you update a calendar in Lightning, it uploads the entire calendar, replacing the entire calendar that was already there. Because the calendar is uploaded using WebDAV, the calendar items don't really have any usernames at all associated with them, so it uses the username of the person doing the uploading. You will unfortunately have to live with it for now. For the not-too-distant future we are looking to improve the way Lightning talks to the Citadel calendar, either by adding GroupDAV (or even Citadel's own wire protocol) support to Lightning, or by adding CalDAV support to Citadel. Either way we will gain the kind of granularity needed to avoid having to update the calendar by re-uploading the entire thing.
