Gavin,
It is something of a priority for me too. My company is using the shared
contacts and calendar capabilities quite a lot. We are based in Uttoxeter
(Staffordshire) but our staff operate nationwide. For us though its not quite
as big a problem. All our staff access the system using TBird so all contacts
generated on TBird maintain the details when transfered to another TBird via
the server. Link that to the fact the the webcit interface is really only
used by me for administrative purposes and you see its not a problem for us
untill someone wants an administrative change (which is rare). The main
reason I've taken this on board personally is because I'm probably the
biggest user of these capabilities among the developers so I get more real
world testing done than the other developers and if its there it should work
properly.
I'm working towards having the contacts fixed for the next release but its
proving a little difficult to tie down where the fix should be and exactly
what it should be. Damn specifications should never contain optional
components.
