When logged in as the admin you can see the room in the room list yes?

I guess that must be true else you wouldn't know it was there.

So, you should be able to edit the room settings and you should be able to
delete the room.

Its not really a problem that the room exists. To hide the room again you can
change its settings.

Make sure the room appears on the "Main Floor" and make sure its set to be a
personal room.
