Well, if you use IMAP and Thunderbird, then you can use an ordinary account
for sharing.  Tbird can handle multiple accounts, and Citadel doesn't care
how many connections there are to an account.  I have many computers and most
of them have Tbird set up to check my email.  Frequently, multiple machines
are logged on and I use whichever one I happen to be at.  The advantage of a
special shared room is that you can manage the invitation list centrally, so
a private room with an invitation list is probably better.
