   Sub: Hiroshima Day Peace March on Friday, 6th August

Bombay Sarvodaya Mandal ,Gandhi Smarak Nidhi, about 50 colleges of 
NSS Units of Mumbai and SNDT University, NGOs, journalists and the 
peace activists have organized an anti-nuclear Peace March to 
commemorate Hiroshima day. The March is organized with a view to show 
solidarity with the people of the world and join in the prayers for 
peace and a Nuclear Free World and to create Social Awareness among 
students about the holocaust of nuclear armaments. The Peace March 
will commence from Azad Maidan at 3.00 pm sharp and will conclude at 
Hutatma Chowk at 3.30 pm with a pledge to work for peace and nuclear 
free world. There will also be a street play om the holocaust of 
nuclear weapons by the NSS students.

This year 20 students and teachers from Japan will participate in 
this Peace March.

Programme

DATE: Friday, AUGUST 6, 2004

Participants will gather at: AZAD MAIDAN 3.00 P.M. [Bombay]

Peace March will start sharp 3.30 p.m

Peace March will end at HUTATMA CHWK 3.30 P.M. [Bombay]


A PLEDGE WILL BE ADMINISTERED AT HUTATMA CHOWK TO WORK FOR

A NUCLEAR FREE WORLD AND INTERNATIONAL PEACE AND A STREET PLAY WILL 
BE PERFORMED ON THE HOLOCAUST OF NUCLEAR WEAPONS.
