Dear Friends [Uranium Corporation of India Ltd ] UCIL, again, is on the move. It wants to shift the Processing Plant from Dugyal/Mallapur to Seripally village, some 43 KM away. So, UCIL went to APPCB [Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board] for conducting yet another Public Hearing on 3-3-2005 at Seripally village in Devarkonda mandal of Nalgonda district [Andhra Pradesh].
[Movement Against Uranium Project] (MAUP) is calling for a Press Meet at the Press Club in Basheer Bagh [Hyderabad] on16-2-2005, Wednesday at 11 AM. A short film on the plight of Jadugoda people will be shown and afterwards a press conference will be held.
