Dear lists, a friend of mine remembers this stanza as the first of a
stotra of Sankara. I have not been able to find it anywhere in any of
the strotras of Sankara (or pseudo-Sankara), and am told by a
Sanskritist here that it is in fact not from a stotra that is commonly
attributed to Sankara, but she did not know where the stotra might be
found. Does anyone know?
karAravindena padAravindam
mukhAravinde vinivezayantam/
vaTasya patrasya puTe zayAnaM
bAlaM mukundaM manasA smarAmi//
