checked out the MIT opencourseware website, and briefly visited the physics pages. they have published their demo tools and animations, which are quite neat, as well as their syllabus, their books, and session details. the study notes and actual stuff is yet to come. the home page unfortunately sounds a little like an MIT sales talk, but then they can't help it, since they know they are sharing (giving away?) their goldmine. nevertheless, a commendable effort. check it out and post your reviews please
:-) LL MIT OpenCourseWare Now Online http://slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=02/09/30/1647213 peter303 writes "A sampling of MIT's [0] OpenCourseWare selections appered online today. The courses cover a full range of departments, but only a couple apiece. The material ranges ranges from just syllabi and calendars to extensive on-line course notes and interative demos. To succeed, OpenCourseWare must also be an advantage to MIT faculty and students, as well as the outside world. I think this may be possible, because it gives a uniform appearance and access point for online material, plus tools to build these." Links 0. http://ocw.mit.edu/index.html
