Red Hat's out.  Here's the response I got to a mail to RH:

The points you identify are correct.  You will need to remove all
references to Red Hat from the marketing, packaging, and the software.

No way we can build a distribution after changing all the packages,
kernel, finding out every reference to RH in the code, etc.
