I am not sure how many people here have used FreeBSD but gentoo Linux uses something similar to the ports collection in freeBSD, or the apt system in Debian. Which means dependancy checking when installing a package and no making sure that you have all 1001 packages needed to install something. Picture this, want to install gaim on a minimal install system, it will check and install anything and everything you need for gaim. Even the X server. I think thats pretty cool and easily mantainable by any novice. :) Thats just my 0.02 --Karan __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
