We're accumulating significant chilling hours now here in the Northeast
with daily temps in the mid-30's to 40's. I expect rest has been achieved
for peaches and some apples, and significantly warm weather could result in
bud movement. In fact, the Feb-Mar-Apr period is expected to be above
normal in temperature according to NOAA/NWS, however, I been hearing
rumblings from the weather fanboys on the internet about a pattern change
and significant cold for Feb-Mar. Who do you believe? And what difference
does it make?
