Hi there!

I'm writing to request your help in getting the word out about a volunteer
opportunity that will be quite compelling for anyone in your networks
passionate about improving the social impact & development space. A few
details:

*LensShift, a new nonprofit organization, is actively seeking Board members
to play leadership roles in bettering the social impact space and equipping
changemakers to do good-- responsibly.*

*Interested in addressing misguided development and social impact work?
Would you like to help actively build up and grow an organization that
facilitates learning, critical reflection and discourse on social change by
providing in-depth historical, political and cultural contexts along with
practical insights to shift the status quo?*

*Consider applying to become a Board member of LensShift--applications are
due April 7th! Find more details attached. *

*LensShift Board members are expected to:*

*- Meet (remotely) 3-4 times a year for 2-3 hours and provide additional
guidance or assistance as needed*

*- Support in the governance, fundraising, accounting, marketing and
strategic planning of LensShift*
*- Put communities above all ell else; specifically adamant about putting
communities first, not the actors working in them*
*- Be passionate about bettering the social impact space*
