I can think of two reasons: 1) Some people share their workstations with others by using different accounts 2) Not everyone runs its OS with admin rights all the time (that's one of the reasons Windows users are more likely to get malware: before Vista Windows would default to give you admin rights during installation). thanks a few questions: - is the RSA-Key creation process independent from a central server now? - I tell someone my ID and he chats to me, how do I get the RSA-Key of this user out of the chat window, if I do not want to ask him for his ID or Key? - If I say user XX is always allowed to have remote desktop acess, this means any user with the nicname can access me ? or is it related to the ID or public Key ? then you with your central server can acess any user using this buddy list ? this would be a very big security risk.
