Rockefeller's autobiography-and Nazi connection
Here's a link to a lengthy NY Times article dated 10/23/02 on David
Rockefeller's autobiography followed by a few select quotes showing his own

Suffice it to say that David Rockefeller is directly tied to countless
issues in the news lately including Enron (Chase was it's main bank), West
Nile Virus (Rockefeller University was experimenting in NYC with WNV since
the early 1950's and claims to have "discovered" it in Uganda in 1937), the
WTC (David Rockefeller concieved of it and built it to enhance Chase Bank's
new downtown headquarters), Giuliani (America's Mayor got all his ideas from
Rockefeller's Manhattan Institute -MI), eugenics (aside from being
half-owners of Auschwitz and IG Farben and being heavily-involved with
Hitler and the Nazis, Rockefeller has been the world's #1 promoter of
eugenics. MI hosted and promoted Charles Murray throughout the writing of
The Bell Curve), and the coming war with Iraq. He's also very connected with
the Saudis who financed Al Queda and the entire Bush family-which has it's
own very well documented Nazi connection. As a final note, David
Rockefeller (founder of the Alliance for Downtown NY and owner of MOMA) is
also very directly involved with the entire issue of NYC persecuting street

Untypically, a Rockefeller Tells the Story of His Life
"One impulse behind the memoir was almost certainly Mr. Rockefeller's desire
to show that he had worked for his place in the world and not simply
inherited it, especially his place at Chase, long associated with the
Rockefeller family."

"In 1936 the Rockefellers entered into partnership with Dulles's Nazi front,
the Schroder Bank of New York, which, as we have already seen, was the key
institution of the Fascist economic 'miracle'. In 1939 the
Rockefeller-controlled Chase National Bank secured $25 million for Nazi
Germany and supplied Berlin with information on ten thousand Nazi
sympathizers in the United States. Except for a few months interruption the
Rockefeller-owned Standard Oil of New Jersey shipped oil to the Nazis
through Spain all throughout the war. The roster of the Rockefellers' known
pro-Nazi behavior is horrendous. As previously outlined, in 1942 Senator
Harry Truman described the behavior of the Rockefeller company as
treasonous...On September 22, 1947, Federal Judge Charles Clark issued the
following opinion in a civil case: "Standard Oil can be considered an enemy
national in view of its relationship with I.G. Farben after the U.S. and
Germany had become active enemies".

"During the war, Rockefeller foreshadowed the anticommunist policies of the
Cold War by cozying up to dictatorial regimes in Latin America. Niccolà
Tucci, head of the State Department's Bureau of Latin American Research,
resigned and asked Secretary of State Cordell Hull to abolish his bureau.
"My bureau was supposed to undo the Nazi and fascist propaganda in South
America and Rockefeller was inviting the worst fascists and Nazis to
Washington." Tucci took his objections to Rockefeller and was told: "
'Everybody is useful and we're going to convert these people to friendliness
to the United States.' And then, Rockefeller's lawyer Larry Levy said to me,

Crusade for Freedom for which a young actor named Ronald Reagan was a
leading spokesman and publicist. The Crusade for Freedom was used to launder
money to support a programme run by Bill Casey, the future CIA director,
called the International Refugee Committee in New York [aka International
Rescue Committee], which allegedly coordinated the exfiltration of Nazis
from Germany to the United States where they were expected to assist the
government in fighting Communism...[pg 142]...The Ford Foundation gave
$500,000 to Bill Casey's International Rescue Committee and substantial
grants to another CIA front, the World Assembly of Youth...the convergence
between the Rockefeller billions and the U.S. government exceeded even that
of the Ford Foundation ."
[David Rockefeller's Chase Manhattan Bank is the main sponsor of the
Manhattan Institute. Besides their documented banking connection to the
Third Reich, the Rockefeller family were 1/2 owners of IG Farben the Nazi
chemical and munitions conglomerate which built Auschwitz and forty other
Nazi slave labor/death camps].

Chase Banked On Nazis - Report
"Chase National Bank - the precursor of today's Chase Manhattan Bank -
allegedly helped the Nazis plunder Jewish property in France during World
War II, according to a published report. The New York-based bank controlled
by the Rockefeller family closed Jewish accounts even before the Germans
ordered them to do so and did business with the Nazis while they were
sending Jews to the gas chambers, Newsweek magazine reports in this week's
edition. And while the U.S. was at war with the Nazis, Chase also apparently
helped German banks do business with their overseas branches, the magazine
reported. Chase Manhattan is now the largest bank company in the U.S. with
more than $300 billion in assets. Chase general counsel William McDavid
could not be reached for comment yesterday. But he told Newsweek that Chase
intends to compensate Jewish account holders whose assets were illegally
plundered. But lawyers representing Holocaust survivors who have filed a
class-action lawsuit against French and British banks that allegedly froze
their accounts during the war intend to name Chase Manhattan to their
lawsuit and are investigating the wartime role of another big U.S. bank,
J.P. Morgan, the magazine reported. While many other U.S. businesses and
banks closed down their Paris operations after France fell to the Germans,
Chase National remained open and even thrived. The relationship between
Chase and the Nazis apparently was so cozy that Carlos Niedermann, the Chase
branch chief in Paris, wrote his supervisor in Manhattan that the bank
enjoyed "very special esteem" with top German officials and "a rapid
expansion of deposits," according to Newsweek. Niedermann's letter was
written in May 1942 - five months after the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor and
the U.S. also went to war with Germany...The revelation that a U.S. bank
might be involved in the plunder of Jewish assets comes in the wake of an
agreement by Swiss banks to compensate Holocaust survivors $1.25 billion for
pillaging their savings. Recently declassified documents revealed that at
least 300 U.S. companies continued doing business in Germany during the war,
Newsweek reported. And subsidiaries of Ford and General Motors have been
accused of forcing thousands of Jews, Poles and others to work as slave
laborers."

Chase Named In Holocaust-Asset Suit
"Two American banks were named in a class-action lawsuit yesterday that
accuses them of collaborating with the Nazis to deprive Jewish depositors of
their rightful assets. "They froze and blocked Jewish accounts during the
period of the Nazi occupation in France, depriving Jewish families of the
financial means to flee France," said attorney Kenneth McCallion, who filed
the suit against Chase Manhattan Bank, J.P. Morgan and seven French banks.
...McCallion charges Chase's Paris branch - with full backing of its New Yor
k office - displayed "excessive zeal" in enforcing anti-Jewish laws and was
held in "very special esteem" by Vichy authorities. Court papers also say
Chase prospered under German occupation, nearly doubling its deposits
between 1942 and 1944 from 27 million to more than 50 million French
francs...Chase officials said in a statement that it has been in settlement
talks with the World Jewish Congress for several weeks and that it was
disappointed that an "unnecessary" lawsuit has been filed."
"Chase Manhattan Corp. apologized yesterday for aiding Adolf Hitler's Third
Reich by converting German marks into U.S. dollars between 1936 and 1941.
Because many countries refused to accept German currency during the war, the
Nazis used foreign banks like Chase National to change the currency into
money that would be accepted. "We are sad to learn and deeply troubled about
the involvement of one of our predecessor banks in a program that benefited
Germany during that period," said William Harrison Jr., chief executive
officer of Chase. "We have a responsibility to make this information public
and wish to express our sincere apologies to the Jewish community and to the
American public." Chase does not, however, intend to make financial
reparations for the role it played in aiding Hitler and the Nazis". -Daily

The Manhattan Institute: Launch Pad For Conservative Authors
"The Manhattan Institute was founded in 1978 by William Casey, who later
became President Reagan's CIA director. Since then, the Institute's track
record with authors has been notable. Funneling money from very conservative
foundations, the Institute has sponsored many books by writers opposed to
safety-net social programs and affirmative action...Charles Murray's Losing
Ground -- a denunciation of social programs for the poor -- catapulted him
to media stardom in 1984. More than a dozen years later, the Philadelphia
Inquirer (10/13/97) recalled that Losing Ground "provided much of the
intellectual groundwork for welfare reform." As Murray wrote in the book's
preface, the decision by Manhattan Institute officials to subsidize the book
project was crucial: "Without them, the book would not have been
written."...When Murray appeared on ABC's This Week (11/28/93), host David
Brinkley introduced him with lavish praise as "the author of a much-admired,
much-discussed book called Losing Ground, which is a study of our social
problems." Minutes later, Murray was explaining his solution: "I want to get
rid of the whole welfare system, period, lock, stock and barrel -- if you
don't have any more welfare, you enlist a lot more people in the community
to help take care of the children that are born. And the final thing that
you can do, if all else fails, is orphanages."...: Shortly after The Bell
Curve was published [in late 1994], the Institute sponsored a luncheon to
honor Murray and the book, in which he proposes a genetic explanation for
the 15-point difference in IQ between blacks and whites that is the basis
for his dismissing affirmative action policies as futile."...Along with

Manhattan Institute has gained funding from such corporate sources as the
Chase Manhattan Bank, Citicorp, Time Warner, Procter & Gamble and State Farm

"A concentration camp survivor who witnessed the murders of his parents and
five siblings at Auschwitz claimed that during questioning after his arrest
on bribery charges he was placed before a blackboard bearing a Nazi slogan
by former U.S. Attorney General Rudolph Giuliani's office as part of an
attempt to "break" him...Written on the blackboard was the German phrase
"Arbeit Macht Frei." The slogan, "Work Shall Set You Free," adopted by the
Nazi party, appeared over the gates at Auschwitz."

Two senators call a news conference to present an average, hard-working
American who -- to their embarrassment --turns out to have a Nazi swastika
tattooed on his arm. Is that news? Several major media organizations didn't
think so. The West Virginia truck driver was trotted out by Sen. Jay
Rockefeller (D-W.Va.) and Minority Leader Tom Daschle (D-S.D.) as someone
who would be helped by the Clinton tax plan. Rockefeller, clearly unaware of
the tattoo, introduced the man as "a very close and personal friend." "If it
had been a Republican, this would have been a huge scandal that the
Republicans had brought out a Nazi sympathizer," said House GOP spokesman
Ari Fleischer. Instead, it was reported as a brief item only by the Hill,
the Capitol Hill weekly, and by Associated Press Radio."
