2017-05-10 Thread Mike Parnin via DX4WIN
Mike, thanks for the suggestion. I did do the DX4WIN report suggestion and it
did change to " checked" with an asterisk by the prefix. The other possible
actions on the pulldown should give me the info I'm looking for.

Hello Mike,

You may need to do that manually.  If you make a submission through DX4WIN,
you can change all of the submitted QSOs to Checked.  Look under Reports –
Award Flags – Action.  Try this – AFTER making a backup copy of your log and
putting it safely away.  Do a submission (Reports – Report/Action –
Submission) for the award(s) of interest.  Then do Reports – Award Flags –
Action – Submitted -> Checked for the same award(s).  If that doesn’t work,
maybe someone else will have an idea, or you may need to do it manually.

In regards to LOTW and DX4WIN 8.05 I have what may seem as a easy reply to
this problem.
I have a LOTW account and have DXCC. I upload and download my log to LOTW
with no problem.
My numeric values in LOTW and Dx4WIN match exactly. My question is when I
download my DXCC info from LOTW, the "C" values in the DXCC Listing report
don't change from "C" Confirmed to * for Checked. Yes, I have transferred in
LOTW those Confirmed to Checked and the "numeric" values for DXCC and the
ones in DX4WIN Summary match. Why are Confirmed values in DX4WIN not
changing to * ?  Do I have a setting wrong or is this a manual setting ?

Hello Dean,

Are you talking about the DXCC report?  In this matrix the symbols are:
C = confirmed (but not submitted for credit, or credited by the League)
S= submitted for credit (but not yet credited)
*= confirmed, submitted, and credited to your DXCC account.

So - what you see is not unusual.  There is a handy way to align your DX4WIN
log with your ARRL DXCC account, if you have a DXCC award and an LoTW
account.  Use Jim's utility program "Compare LoTW to DX4WIN".  Info is here:
http://dx4win.ad1c.us/lotw/index.html

I did  a search on DXCC listing mix/cw/ssb and see a number of entities
showing an "S" for some prefixes where there is a "C" in one or morde of the
mode positions.  Shouldn't , therefore be a "C"  in the "MIX"  column?

The crowd is in agreement. The answer is:

Rx / Tx KHz

Thanks everyone!

For those of you who DO have such a radio, what is the format:

 or
    Tx / Rx KHz

Where Rx is the frequency you are RECEIVING on and Tx is the frequency
 you are TRANSMITTING on.
