I am learning a lot about FELV cats since I found my Skylar. Just wondering
about how old is the oldest cat that lived with it. I had the IFA test done
and that is positive also even though he is perfectly healthy at the moment.
He will be 2 years old this month, I found him a year ago.
Why would people judge you? I have an FIV cat and now a felv cat. All
strays. It's wonderful to help out the cats that need it the most. My cat
will be 2 years old and is just fine besides having the FELV status. It is a
great thing you are doing.

Well, my FELV cat's bloodwork came back perfect. I had him retested for the
4th time and he is still positive. I am assuming the IFA test if 100%
accurate. But for now, he is abit over weight and healthy. And I am shocked.
He is only 1.5 years old. He just strayed in one day back in March
a
Winstrol/Prednisolone/Doxycycline regime.

Has anyone used this Interferon before on an FELV

improvements in haemoglobin, haematocrit, hemoglobin, etc.

Has anyone used this Interferon before on an FELV cat? I started Skylar on
that. he is not sick but since the IFA test was also positive, I wanted to
give him a booster to his immune system so he will hopefully not get sick. I
heard it wasn't as effective after 3 months use. It's 7 days on
here is
strong evidence that Doxycyclene added to this treatment regimen can inhibit
the duplication of the FeLV virus. Amani could explain this much better than me.

Ok, thanks. My 2nd job is at a vets office so he works with me. Skylar is
healthy right now and eating like a pig. So I
a FeLV+ kitty.
The vet won't have this in stock. It needs to be obtained from a compounding
pharmacy.

I am sure the Elisa test was wrong. You can have Curly retested in 3 months to
be sure. The IFA is very accurate. If the cat is indoor, no way to get
infected.

I have the same situation and wished someone lived close to me so I could
schedule some play dates. I have 15 other cats in the house and My felv cat is
alone unless we are with him. It’s sad but it’s better than putting him to
sleep since he is healthy at the moment. If you find out
I also put up a screen door with plexy glass to my felv cat can see the other
cats and not feel alone and that way he also have more room in the house to
play. I have learned that they get depressed staring at the same walls so we
now use screen doors and the glass is so in case they sneeze
I had the same situation but when the IFA is negative, the cat should shed the
virus after testing negative. They normally retest every 3 months for the
felv elisa test. The IFA test is 99.9% accurate.

Hello, my Skylar seems to have hiccups movements in his body but not coming out
of his mouth. Like his body jumps in the center. His bloodwork was great
last time besides the FELV and he isn't due for bloodwork until May. Has
anyone seen this type of thing?

My son Skylar is doing well and his 6 month bloodwork came back great. High
cholesterol is all. No idea why that would be. He is now 2 1/2 years old, I
hope he is around a long time.

other. Thanks for any information.
