Hi! Any chance anybody would be willing to help me make an IRIX 3.3 theme for fvwm?
http://www.sgistuff.net/software/irixintro/images/irix-3.3-img2.gif There's just something about that UI I find extremely attractive. Maybe it's the simplicity. Maybe it's the nostalgia of what SGI used to represent -- super cool high end computers for governments, universities and the super rich, the promise of a better future, cameo appearances in movies like Jurrasic Park. Or, maybe it's the sense of calm that sweeps over me whenever I see a UI that doesn't try too hard to fit in. That doesn't try to please the endless hordes of hipsters and gamers whom, while they certainly love to hate on others, wouldn't know how to design something proper themselves even if their lives depended on it.
