modules (mm_mod_auth_ldap AND mod_auth_ldap) - is there some
configurable way to disentangle them?

problem. Following event sequence:
Once upon a time the disk was full. Mailman could not write archives.
Upon a restart (or crash?) locks were left over in the locks/
subdirectory
Henceforth all mails which would be to archive languished

According to eix -I sdk only SDK versions from 1.4 upwards are available
for installation. I might need 1.3 SDK variants too for maintenance of
old product versions (it is not THAT simple to get a customer to upgrade
:-), so - are there some ebuilds for 1.3 JDK versions around?

I discovered (some time ago) the exifautotrans tool. Basically this is a
program which can read EXIF data and *lossless* rotate images which are
marked as rotated via EXIF (not all image viewers are EXIF capable).
This tool also fixes the EXIF tag, so that all viewers will display the
image

keep the old (-nptl -nptlonly) settings. Is this a good Idea? Or is
using nptl+nptlonly better (faster, less hassle, less memory footprint)

update-eix won't work anymore: If I try to start it, it prints Reading
Portage settings .. and starts gobbling up memory at an amazing rate.
At a memory usage of about 770MB (according to top) the process stops
with the message Aborted (nothing else).
