[gentoo-user] Dell Inspiron 530 compatability questions before buying

My 1999 Dell with a 450 mhz PIII and 128 megs of *MAIN RAM* is finally dying on me. With the network card, and now the internal modem gone, I think it's time to retire the Dell. Next month would be its 8th anniversary, and that is ancient for a PC. I have an AMD3000+ as my new main machine.
