I have been searching but haven't ben able to deliver NetNews via Cyrus.
imapd.conf is managed with the following lines:
partition-news: /var/spool
was not successful.
I'm wondering where the articles should be stored on the disk and how to
manage rights.
Thanks you very much for your help.

Has anybody experimented this annotation ?

Hello,
I'd like to export shared mailboxes hierarchy (used with the NNTP-IMAP
gateway) to reinstall my server and not to have to recreate mailboxes
again manually.
Is there a tool to export the hierarchy with only the mailboxes names ?
Thanks.

Well, IMAP could support a credential management system as an extension
similar to the XMPP one : XEP-0077: In-Band Registration

What's the state of Cyrus implementation ? Is there any plan to
implement the RFC version (can't find a ticket on Bugzilla) ?
Cheers.

otherwise client implementations might be based on the current Cyrus
version which is the de facto normative implementation, and the examples
from the RFC would overrule the ABNF.

All that to say that I believe the IMAP METADATA extension has a real

Mozilla (Tb B2G) and other vendors and providers might favor its use.
