Do you have libstdc++ installed? Which version? libstdc++.so.2.10.0 I am fiddeling with --with-extra-prefix flags right now. Seems since GCC is not the main compiler here it does not find everything it's looking for but Sun's CC won't work at all. Plus, GCC is installed for different architectures and OS versions. "Argh ! Old include files found ! Yell at sysadmin (Yes/no) ? Yes YELLYELL Good that this time it was not you who installed a new GCC"... That should fix it. I will keep you updated. Are you saying that we should support compiling on gcc 2.95.2 with an older STL version (from sun or an older gcc installation)? It sure means a lot of work. We'd have first know what STL version he has. JMarc

LyX 1.1.5 and missing ".h" on include files
Hello ! I am trying to compile LyX 1.1.5 on a Solaris 2.7 system, using g++ 2.95.2 It seems like a whole load of include directives look like #include instead of #include which leads to errors like this: g++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I../../src -I../../images -I./../ -I../../src/cheaders -I/rzdist/gnu/sun5/lib/g++-include/ -I/usr/local//include -I/usr/openwin/include -g -O2 -fno-rtti -fno-exceptions -c formula.C -o formula.o In file included from formula.C:29: formula.h:24: iosfwd: No such file or directory In file included from ../../src/insets/lyxinset.h:23, from formula.h:26, from formula.C:29: ../../src/lyxfont.h:19: iosfwd: No such file or directory Why is that ? Am I doing s.th. wrong ? Jochen -- "Look, would it save you a lot of time if I just gave up and went mad now?" -Douglas Adams, "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy"
