So funny that virtually the entire left accepts this sort of thing without hesitation from Seymour Hersh but when David Corn uses exactly the same technique, it is denounced as passing along unverifiable information. I guess when an unnamed "senior intelligence officer" tells us that the USA is arming al-Qaeda in Syria, we should genuflect to the "legendary" reporter (who has seen better days) and nod our heads in approval but when he tells Corn that Trump is a Manchurian Candidate, the alarm bells go off. What works for me is leaving this kind of bullshit alone and relying instead on commonly available sources like Elliot Higgins does. Not that I'd ever have access to a spook to begin with. It is difficult enough to get access to my wife most of the time:
