I was pleasantly surprised that sections of the party who would have gone for this in the past did not this time. The real challenge, though, is whether the party has actually built anything out of this campaign. In fact most Stein supporters, including me, would have preferred Chris Hedges as a presidential candidate with Cornel West as VP candidate. Or vice versa. But the Green Party will outlive whatever flaws of the current candidates.
