Thanks Aditya,
I tried your suggestion, but the result is the same. Here's the XML setup
for all images in the document:
\startxmlsetups xml:img
\starttexcode
\placefloat[here,force]{}{%
\hbox{\externalfigure[\xmlatt{#1}{src}][conversion=mp]}
}
\stoptexcode
\stopxmlsetups
I thought it was necessary to use one of the derivations of \placefloat in
order to get the reference generated. In your case this would be \placefigure
thus:
\starttext
\placefigure [ ] [clock] { } {\externalfigure[clock.jpg]}
\at[clock] refers to a clock

Problems:
- I can't get # 1 and # 3 at same time
- \setupfloat doesn't have before option, which I could use to change

Hi all,
I try to get text flowing nicely around a figure but since I'm
working in a columns environment \placefloat related stuff doesn't

Take the following example, the second headers appears at page 4
but the rest of the page
