Issac Grant just called, He is currently viewing the gull w/ Shane in basically
the same place as before, between Nathan's and the Ferris Wheel. He told me

One Buff -breasted Sandpiper was present in the shorebird flock at Field 7

A group of us including Jim Ash and Vicki Bustamante watched the Wheatear until
about 1115. It was last seen around the small ponds behind the main building at
Deep Hollow Ranch. It was frequently perching up on the fence posts.

The Curlew Sandpiper took off with 3 other shore birds heading east out over
the water around 8:55am. It has not yet returned, and may have headed over to
Cupsogue. The tide is Starting to go out.

The Cattle Egret was still present as of 2pm at Mt Loretto Unique Area, Staten
Island. The egret was seen near the vernal pond along the main asphalt trail

No shorebirds on the exposed flats at Pikes in Westhampton Beach today at low
tide. One flyby Royal Tern there and give more on a bar north if Triton Lane

I counted 14 Common Nighthawks at the Narrowsburg DEC fishing access last
evening in Sullivan Co.
