When I check a blank CDR's capacity in Nero with CTRL+I, it shows 79 minutes
and 703 MB. However, when I make an audio compilation of wav files and
check the compilations size , the size exceeds the 703 MB while being less
than 79 minutes. Do I need to keep the MB below 703 even though the total

You need a ripping program to copy the file to your hard drive. It will
appear as a WAV file on your hard drive, but you can specify another format
like MP3. CDEX is a good, free ripping program

I tried SoundTap and it was a disaster. It is not the same company as
Screamer. SoundTap is an NCH product, the makers of Express Burn. I would
suggest you uninstall SoundTap. It has its own uninstall program on the
hard drive in the NCH\SoundTap folder. Good luck.

If you want to record records, then noise reduction is a big issue. My
experience with Goldwave and Audacity is that Audacity is far superior
between the two in noise reduction. However, Audacity is a much more
complex program and is somewaht more difficult to learn and use.
