Anyone ever take springs out of a big gold plated (brass?) motor that has the meter for number of plays on the top It's a massive three spring motor. I got the cover off the single spring side but could not get the spring unhooked so that I could slide it off the shaft. Can't figure a way into the double spring side. I believe it is off of an art-case Sonora.
