Hi

Do you already have the book on Edison wax (brown and black) cylinders
from 1889-1912 (2" & 5"). It also has Wangemann's Log Book, day by day
(1889-1892). Also has the Edison 4-min wax Amberols (by date, 1908-1912).

It also comes with a comprehensive listing of Lambert celluloid
cylinders (white, pink, brown, black), 1900-1905.

[Phono-L] Edison cylinder phonograph books?

2016-05-19 Thread Richard Rubin via Phono-L
Greetings, everyone. I'm looking to get a set of books on Edison cylinders,
and I'm wondering if anyone out there has any recommendations or comparisons
between the two sets: Allan Sutton's, published by Mainspring, and Ronald
Dethlefson's, published by Mulholland. I figure having both sets would be
redundant. What are the relative merits of each? Which do you prefer, and why?

Also, I'd like to get a copy of Frow's Edison Cylinder Phonograph Companion.
If anyone has a spare they'd consider selling or trading, please let me know.

Thanks!
