It was run successfully with Charles Edison as its president, until it merged with McGraw in 1957. (You've never seen a 'McGraw-Edison' appliance? I have a nice heater of theirs - cost me $2 at a yard sale 30 years ago, and it still cranks out the BTUs very nicely!)
I am unaware of any "terminal decline" - maybe of the unused buildings after the merger, but not Thomas A. It seems that they never really moved in any new direction other than terminal decline.. _______________________________________________ Phono-L mailing list http://go.sparkpostmail.com/f/a/lglJt1UPO2W994G7eCHGew~~/AABF2wA~/RgRZ4YidP0EIASv_RqQbDXxXA3NwY1gEAAAAAFkGc2hhcmVkYQhzdGFuZGFyZGANNTQuMjQ0LjU0LjE0NEIKAAQdVQBY5zOxgFIYYXJjaGl2ZUBtYWlsLWFyY2hpdmUuY29tCVEEAAAAAEQSaHR0cDovL3Bob25vLWwub3JnRwJ7fQ~~ Unsubscribe: phono-l-unsubscr...@oldcrank.org
