It's just a theory but discovery may not be working correctly because of the
unusable FCP_dev's.
Try: cfgadm -o unusable_FCP_dev -c unconfigure
on each of your unsuable Ap_Id's. If the lun still isn't discovered after this
you can try to unconfigure/configure the controllers.

Subject: [storage-discuss] LUN discovery issue on a Clarion CX700
Having a problem discovering a newly created LUN from a CX700 to a SF V440.
The V440 currently has a number of LUN's being presented from the CX700 (
Zoning in the fabric has been done) and being used in a number of zpools on the
V440.
==> What I did was destroy a couple of zpools and thereafter removed the LUN
from the CX700 via the usual process i.e. remove from Storage group and then
unbind from the Raid group.
==> I then went and created a new LUN on the CX700 to present to the V440 but
for some reason it's not picking it up.
The OS is Sol 10 8/07 and I was under the impression the OS will automatically
discover the LUN.
I did a ls -l /dev/dsk, and format and also an iostat -En but seen no sign of
the disk. I then tried the manual steps:-
# cfgadm -al -o show_FCP_dev

But still no sign of the new LUN.
Any ideas ?
