I am upgrading my kernel for the first time.. and I'm
kind of not sure what step comes next.. Any help
would be greatly appreciated :-)
What I've done so far:
*backed up all my config files in
/usr/src/kernelconfigs
*got the 2.4.22 src files and unpacked them into
or lilo? The
contents of your /etc/lilo.conf or
/boot/grub/grub.conf (or
/boot/grub/menu.lst)?

So I'm trying to install the JMF on my computer so I
can use the vision recognition stuff with my digital
camera on my lego robot.. and apparently, what I'm
finding online is that the Sun JMF doesn't recognize
the lego camera, but the Blackdown JMF does.

So I have an RS 6000 that I've been wanting to mess
around with but haven't been able to get going-- I was
wondering if there would be anyone would be interested
in messing around with it--and if yes and lots of
