OK, when I said I would accept nominations until Monday, I forgot that it was a holiday. Therefore, I'm going to extend the window until this afternoon.
Rather than hand count a ballot, unless there is objection, I intend to register an election with the Condorcet Internet Voting Service at http://www5.cs.cornell.edu/~andru/civs/ Some information about Condorcet voting can be found at The Debian Voting System (http://seehuhn.de/comp/vote.html). We still have not had significant discussion about who should vote. Should anyone subscribed to the TSLUG mailing list get a vote? Should I send ballots to the members of the list and let them use their conscience? Should you consider voting as a pledge to pay dues this year (historically this has been $15)?
