permit a user (local user) to manager him file via a web browser? Such
as remove, create, upload and so on. I don't want to give ssh access
to all users, just the basic operations over their files.

(actually putting blank there) my resolv.conf everytime it reconnected to
some network by eth0.
I want to avoid rewriting my resolv.conf. Can i do so ? if yes then how ?

I want to use bbpager with the openbox window manager. To my surprising,
bbpager has a runtime dependency on blackbox. It does not seem correct
to me. I suppose the blackbox window manager is not needed to use
bbpager with the openbox window manager.

I've just installed KDE 4.3.95 from the kde overlay and was expecting the
network manager applet to be installed by default but it doesn't appear to be.

I'd try gnome-volume-manager again. I compiled it, started dbus and
hald, started gnome-volume-manager, restarted gnome (just in case), but
when I plug in a drive I get (in /var/log/messages):

Then under Desktop - Behavior - Device Icons, untick the Show
device icons, as otherwise upon the next login the Media Manager
will be running again, even though it's unticked.

user manager it defaults to 500, 5001 etc. But I think when creating
the user using the command line the UID will be 1000, 1001 etc isn't it?
