Hi,
As a user, you can drag from your desktop to your mail client folder.

If you have access to the maildir server folders, you can replace the mime content of a previous mail (each mail is a file), taking into account you have sent a 'fake' mail for this usage and you have a conversion tool from .msg to .mime format (not sure this one will help http://poi.apache.org/hsmf/, but there are librairies for that, I've successfully used it some time ago).
