That did it. In fact all my previous additions now show up. Is there
something I can do to correct the caching problem? Thanks for the help Travis.

After you have made your changes try doing the following:
Restart the System Center Data Access service on the management server.
Restart the console.

See if your changes show up then. This is probably a caching problem.

No just the one management server and its using a new database. Not the old
one.

Do you have multiple management servers and you are connecting to them via a
load balancer?

Subject: [servman] trouble adding list items

Hello,

Recently our test SCSM 2012 management server had to be
replaced. I'm working on setting the new server like the old one and I am
having trouble adding items to the Incident Classification list. Actually I
can add new items, but when I close the console and reopen it those new items
are gone from the list. I am logged on to the server as an admin and the
account is in the administrators role in SCSM. I haven't been able to find a
solution on the web. Can anyone help me?

Thank you,
Michael
