I cant really say we got similar machines, cause im running an XP 1700+ @ 1490Mhz ;) I average around 4hrs/WU, on my old P3 733Mhz i was on approx 12hrs with the GUI (screensaver version) and when i got the CLI (command line version) i dropped to 8-9hrs on the 733. So the first thing you do if you want to get your times down and dont bother about the graphics, is that you get the CLI instead of the GUI. Just ask if anybody needs more info or so :-) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mountain Man" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Friday, April 19, 2002 12:24 AM Subject: slow woes > > Hi, I'm new here, so apologies in advance if this is the umpteenth time > you've seen this question. > > I just started with setiathome.
