Im a p3 733 (yay!) w/ the GUI client. Im hitting about 14 hrs a WU. Than
again Im doing other stuff w/ my system ( Email, Playing games etc). 256
megs of SD ram ( 100 mhz) and hard drives that keep dieing :-(

On a p2-300 I hit about 22-26 hrs a WU. ( I turned off Seti when i played
games w/ that CPU tho)

k6/2-500 and 256 megs? about 35 hrs a WU.

O/S's Win 98SE and Win 2k, I like the Intel chips better for Seti as a
result of the larger on die cache ( k6/2-500 i had had 64k cache :-(, while
the p2-300 had 512k and the p3 733 has 256k on Die,

IMO on the Intel chips that 32k L1 cache seems to really come in handy. Ive
no clue on the performance of the AMD K7/XP series.....

As to cpu/memory monitoring... www.analogx.com has some cool stuff last I
saw
