I run Mandrake 8.0 with the file I mentioned eariler. I don't have 8.2 so I can't help with that...I don't know what would be different. The file I run here is 131000 bytes, whats the size of yours? See what you get when you do this command: [root@pluto root]# rpm -qa |grep glibc glibc-2.2.4-9.1mdk glibc-devel-2.2.4-9.1mdk Other than that I don't know whats wrong. I would recommend searching on google and the message board at berkeley and see if you can find anyone who had a similar problem. >-----Original Message----- >From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On >Behalf Of [EMAIL PROTECTED] >Sent: Monday, July 15, 2002 5:05 PM >To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] >Subject: RE: Linux > > > >linux mandrake 8.2 >amd k6-2 400 > >Quoting Dan Crooks <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > >> >> What version of Linux are you running and on what architecture? >> >> >-----Original Message----- >> >From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On >> >Behalf Of [EMAIL PROTECTED] >> >Sent: Sunday, July 14, 2002 11:47 AM >> >To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] >> >Subject: RE: Linux >> > >> > >> > >> >tried that one too man >> > >> > >> >Quoting Dan Crooks <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: >> > >> >> >> >> On the download page at s@h is another client for Linux.
