Closure of the setiathome mailing list

Greetings:

Due to a lack of list traffic, we have made the decision to close the 
[EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list, effective immediately.  No further 
messages will be permitted and the subscriber lists will be destroyed.  
The maturity of the [EMAIL PROTECTED] program, along with the existence of 
alternative mailing lists and web discussion fora, means this list is no 
longer needed; this allows us to devote our resources elsewhere.  We 
hope that those who have been on the list for some time (including some 
from the very beginning in mid-1999!) have found the list to be useful.
