Ed,
I think you hit the nail on the head. The Dakota, more so than the fwd
cars, has been superceded big time by the new models that followed. The only
people who care about the SD do so not for the performance or even the
collectability. Maybe for the looks and they wouldn't pay good money just for
that because they won't get their money back out when done with the vehicle.
I'll tell you one thing, I consider this truck to be my personal statement
the way I have it customized. I have reservations about someone else driving
what I consider MY truck. If I can't even get $?,??? for it...the wrenches
will come out! How about some of you guys let me know if you need some parts?
If your offers are there, I will part it, no problem.
