Hi Vardhan, I agree that arbitrarily banning users of some free e-mail services from downloading the specs is a Bad Idea, and I can't really see the thought process behind such a restriction. The additional delay of ``upto 72 hours'' in sending a mail to the appropriate address to download the specs is another irritant -- we don't live in the Stone Age anymore, and 72 hours is a long time to have to wait for documents from the 'net. In any case, implementing this idea is impossible due to the proliferation of free web-based e-mail services. You could get an ID from any of a 1000 or more e-mail providers which aren't in simputer.org's database and download the specs. Have a look at http://www.palcommail.com/ for a start :-) Regards, -- Raju >>>>> "Vardhan" == Vardhan Varma <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> writes: Vardhan> A couple of days i visited simputer web site, and Vardhan> proceeded to download hardware spec of simputer, and Vardhan> these fellows would not give out spec to anyone using a Vardhan> 'free-email-service', only company account.
