Q, Building IMAP server

Hi,

I'm newbie in here. I'm trying to build a IMAP server infrastructure
for our company mail system. Is it a framework for IMAP server
programming? Could I use James IMAP for my development?

I would like to know a lot about IMAP and James. Since I'm not
familiar with IMAP, Any advices are welcome.
