Atlantis 'Nova' - Free Software of the Month
No, not the myth; no, not the movie.
There's no rule which says the Site of the Day can't offer a little
something extra to its members. If your bank balance revolts at yet another
withdrawal to feed your computer habit, then this dynamite word processing
application may be just what the bank manager ordered. "Atlantis Nova", is
a snappy freeware programme, 'sister' to the shareware version - "Atlantis
Ocean Mind" - which loads fast and has innumerable bells and whistles.
Offering full justification, for those who simply can't take another page
with "ragged right" alignment, a choice of line spacings and document
statistics which include the all-important "word count" feature, it offers
customizable toolbars as well. Should you be trying to ward off repetitive
stress injury from too much mousing, Atlantis Nova is armed with a host of
keyboard shortcuts.
If you're still using WordPad, now is the time to banish it to a dusty
corner of your hard drive. If you have the mammoth "Word", perhaps it's
time to say, "No" to bloat.
