I get messages like this periodically. The X-Spam-Status header and the SA summary at the top of the message disagree. I may have something wrong in my procmailrc file which I will investigate (I run SA on multiple machines, and the attached message should have an X-SA-Host: header of manatee.mojam.com, not montanaro.dyndns.org), but I thought I'd check with the pros as well. Thx, -- Skip Montanaro - [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.mojam.com/ http://www.musi-cal.com/

Accompanied by stellar Irish and English-based musicians such as Donal Lunny (guitar, bouzouki, keyboard, bodhran, bodhran bass) and vocalist Christy Moore, O'Connor, who also coproduced, casts a hypnotic spell, making the old songs resonate with pulsing rhythms and sounds. Such contemporary treatment takes nothing away from the austere splendor of the material--in fact, this often seems a mystical recording just recovered from some ancient vault. Whether pining over unrequited love (("Peggy Gordon") or bemoaning the plight of a soldier who fled the Irish wars, only to be conscripted under Abraham Lincoln in the War Between the States ("Paddy's Lament"), O'Connor delivers an intimate and thoroughly mature performance, her whispered voice occasionally giving way to a primal scream. Melancholy to the core and astonishingly beautiful. --Alanna Nash</small></td></tr> <tr><td> </td><td><hr color="#C0C0C0" size="1"></td></tr> <tr><td><a href="http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00006IX6E/ultimatemusic-20" target="_blank"><img src="http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B00006IX6E.01.LZZZZZZZ.jpg" alt="Bon Jovi: Bounce" border="0" height="110" width="110"><br><small>Bon Jovi: Bounce</small></a></td><td><small>One of the few lineups to make the leap from 1980s "hair band" into long-term semi-respectability, Bon Jovi's eighth studio album is somewhat true to the band's pop-metal roots, though Bounce is ultimately mellower and more theatrical than previous outings. "Undivided" might be a Tom Waits number, all gravelly vocals and booming drums hinting at a dark hipness before kicking into a commercial, lush chorus. Still, it's got a pleasing edginess, as does the toe-tapping, mechanized feel of "Everyday." Jon Bon Jovi's forays into film have clearly influenced Bounce. "You Had Me from Hello," the title nicked from Jerry Maguire, is spare, poignant, and gentle, while "The Right Side of Wrong" references Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and has a piano-heavy Springsteen-meets-Billy Joel feel. Typical ballads like "Joey" and "All About Loving You" also populate the album, which often feels like a singer-songwriter outing, or a movie soundtrack, rather than an album by a veteran rock band. Some of Bounce's bouncier tunes may still appeal to the now-middle-aged fans of the band's "Livin' on a Prayer" era, while the melodrama marking much of the album might lose those who prefer headbanging over Bon Jovi's more mellow and grandiose musical musings. --Katherine Turman </small></td></tr> <tr><td> </td><td><hr color="#C0C0C0" size="1"></td></tr> <tr><td><a href="http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000069JZM/ultimatemusic-20" target="_blank"><img src="http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B000069JZM.01.LZZZZZZZ.jpg" alt="George Winston: Night Divides The Day - The Music Of The Doors" border="0" height="110" width="110"><br><small>George Winston: Night Divides The Day - The Music Of The Doors</small></a></td><td><small>George Winston cites the Doors as a seminal influence on his music in the liner notes for the 20th anniversary edition of Autumn. Winston is a voracious musical explorer, and the Doors are among several musical tributes Winston has rolling around in his head. He's already paid homage to pianist Vince Guaraldi with Linus and Lucy. Winston's take on the acid-rock shamans is sometimes magical, sometimes regretful. It's no secret that George isn't a great technician, and you can hear the flaws whenever he remains true to the melody, especially replicating Robbie Krieger's guitar lines. But some songs are just perfect for Winston, notably "Crystal Ship," which he expands into a gorgeous meditation. Winston mixes the hits, including "Light My Fire," with some eccentric personal choices like "Spanish Caravan" and "My Wild Love." Ardent Doors devotees may cringe, but Winston fans will find a home here. --John Diliberto </small></td></tr></table> <hr color="#C0C0C0" align="left" size="1"> <font face="Verdana" color="#980000" size="4"><b>Top 5</b></font><br><br> <table border="0" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="0" width="100%"> <tr><td colspan="2"><b>Issue Date - 10/12/02</b> : Stats courtesy of <a href="http://www.billboard.com/" target="_blank"><u>Billboard.com</u></a></td></tr> <tr><td><b>Billboard Top 200</b></td><td><b>Top Internet Sales</b></td></tr> <tr><td width="50%"> 1. <A HREF="http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00006AG5N/ultimatemusic-20" target="_blank"><u>ELV1S 30 #1 Hits</u></a> :Elvis Presley<br> 2. <A HREF="http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00006BIMO/ultimatemusic-20" target="_blank"><u>Home</u></a> : Dixie Chicks<br> 3. <A HREF="http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000066NW0/ultimatemusic-20" target="_blank"><u>Let Go</u></a> : Avril Lavigne<br> 4. <A HREF="http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000069KN8/ultimatemusic-20" target="_blank"><u>Believe</u></a> : Disturbed<br> 5. <A HREF="http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000067RPH/ultimatemusic-20" target="_blank"><u>Nellyville</u></a> : Nelly<br> </td> <td width="50%"> 1. <A HREF="http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00006AG5N/ultimatemusic-20" target="_blank"><u>ELV1S 30 #1 Hits</u></a> :Elvis Presley<br> 2. <A HREF="http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00006F7S3/ultimatemusic-20" target="_blank"><u>Up</u></a> : Peter Gabriel<br> 3. <A HREF="http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00006BIMO/ultimatemusic-20" target="_blank"><u>Home</u></a> : Dixie Chicks<br> 4. <A HREF="http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00006J3WH/ultimatemusic-20" target="_blank"><u>BTVS: Once More, With Feeling</u></a> : Soundtrack<br> 5. <A HREF="http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00006FE1J/ultimatemusic-20" target="_blank"><u>Room To Breathe</u></a> : Delbert McClinton<br> </td></tr></table> <hr color="#C0C0C0" align="left" size="1"> <font face="Verdana" color="#980000" size="4"><b>Music News</b></font><br><br> <a href="http://www.ultimatemusicdirectory.com/music/news.html" target="_blank">Track Listing to Nirvana's Best Revealed...</a>, <a href="http://www.ultimatemusicdirectory.com/music/news.html" target="_blank">Aguilera Gets MTV 'Dirrty'...</a>, <a href="http://www.ultimatemusicdirectory.com/music/news.html" target="_blank">Prince's boots are made for walking...</a>, <a href="http://www.ultimatemusicdirectory.com/music/news.html" target="_blank">Tegan And Sara Tour Journal...</a>, <a href="http://www.ultimatemusicdirectory.com/music/news.html" target="_blank">The Dirtmitts Get On With It...</a>, <a href="http://www.ultimatemusicdirectory.com/music/news.html" target="_blank">Remy Shand Brings His Message Back To Canada...</a>, <a href="http://www.ultimatemusicdirectory.com/music/news.html" target="_blank">Wonder, DMX To Rock For Artists' Rights...</a>, <a href="http://www.ultimatemusicdirectory.com/music/news.html" target="_blank">Saves The Day Names New Drummer...</a>, <a href="http://www.ultimatemusicdirectory.com/music/news.html" target="_blank">more...</a><br> <!-- START ALEXA --> <hr color="#980000" align="left" size="1"> <table border="1" bordercolor="#000000" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1" width="575"> <tr><td valign="middle" bgcolor="#FFB900"><small>We are offering an exclusive Ultimate Music Directory version of the award winning Alexa Toolbar.
