hi there. I recently re-installed spamdyke and noticed that it's not giving a response. I have it on port 1999 now for testing..

here is what happens..

$ telnet pluto.kalfaoglu.net 1999
Trying 176.9.64.42...
Connected to pluto.kalfaoglu.net.
Escape character is '^]'.
220 pluto.kalfaoglu.net ESMTP
helo doesitworknow

and nothing. I went to lunch and came back..

the debug log shows:
Jun 9 15:26:59 pluto spamdyke[62748]: DEBUG(filter_rdns_whitelist_file()@filter.c:1055): searching rDNS whitelist file(s); rdns: v804.iyte.edu.tr Jun 9 15:26:59 pluto spamdyke[62748]: DEBUG(filter_ip_whitelist()@filter.c:1228): searching IP whitelist file(s); ip: 193.140.250.84 Jun 9 15:26:59 pluto spamdyke[62748]: DEBUG(filter_ip_blacklist()@filter.c:1279): searching IP blacklist file(s); ip: 193.140.250.84 Jun 9 15:26:59 pluto spamdyke[62748]: DEBUG(filter_ip_in_rdns_blacklist()@filter.c:1333): checking for IP in rDNS +keyword(s) in blacklist file; ip: 193.140.250.84 rdns: v804.iyte.edu.tr Jun 9 15:26:59 pluto spamdyke[62748]: DEBUG(filter_dns_rbl()@filter.c:1645): checking DNS RBL(s); ip: 193.140.250.84 Jun 9 15:26:59 pluto spamdyke[62748]: DEBUG(filter_earlytalker()@filter.c:1817): checking for earlytalker; delay: 1 Jun 9 15:27:00 pluto spamdyke[62748]: DEBUG(undo_softlimit()@spamdyke.c:3241): reset stack size soft limit to infinity: please stop using the softlimit program

(PS: I did change the /etc/security/limits.conf, set the stack limit to unlimited instead of 10240, but I could no longer login as root after a reboot :) So I have it back to 10240 as before)

Any ideas what to do?

Many thanks, tk
